Sitel, Intuit Partner to Create Work from Home Virtual Prosperity Hub to Drive Economic Growth in Lawton, Oklahoma

Sitel is hiring work-from-home employees to support economic growth, holding virtual job fairs throughout the months of June & July

MIAMI, Florida —June 9, 2020 —Sitel Group, a leading provider of digital CX strategies and solutions that delivers more than 3.5 million customer experiences every day, announced the expansion of its partnership with Intuit, maker of TurboTax, QuickBooks and Mint, with the launch of a second virtual Prosperity Hub in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Together, Sitel Group and Intuit will launch the Lawton Prosperity Hub to bring 75 full-time, work-from-home jobs to the area with potential for future job expansion. In addition, the Prosperity Hub will offer vocational training to expand community members’ expertise and resources for education supporting youth, adults and small businesses to accelerate prosperity throughout the community. These opportunities come at a time when work-from-home jobs are more important than ever to support economic growth and strength.

As part of this initiative, Sitel Group is hosting virtual job fairs throughout June and July. These events will include information on current job availability and training options that prospective candidates can explore. Interested candidates can attend the virtual job fair Monday through Friday between 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

The Prosperity Hub program is designed to spark durable economic growth to regional communities, in support of the small business and entrepreneurship ecosystem, through job creation and access to training and educational resources. The program serves to build resiliency for communities and their residents by providing work-from-home jobs and virtual education resources for communities of people seeking opportunities.

Lawton was chosen as Intuit’s first virtual Prosperity Hub in the U.S. for many reasons, including the community’s strong support system, the large volume of military families and the high level of qualified talent amongst its residents.

As part of the regional Prosperity Hub program, Intuit works with Sitel Group to hire full-time employees, with opportunities for advancement. They are paid above market-average and trained to provide product and domain expertise supporting QuickBooks and TurboTax.

Intuit and Sitel will be hosting a Lawton Prosperity Hub Launch on June 11 between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. to announce details of this partnership and welcome these new opportunities to Lawton. Attendees include Governor Kevin Stitt, Senator Jim Inhofe and Intuit Executive Chairman Brad Smith.
