MIAMI — April 5, 2021 — Sitel Group®, a global leader in end-to-end customer experience (CX) products and solutions, today announced it was named amongst the Leaders in the Financial Times second annual Diversity Leaders ranking. The Financial Times recognized Sitel Group in Diversity for 2021, at a time when the global pandemic forced to begin working remotely and social justice movements have gained heightened attention inside workplaces and elsewhere.

In 2020, Sitel Group celebrated and prioritized inclusion and diversity around the world in many ways including:

  • Launching WELead in the Americas, India and the Philippines, an employee resource dedicated to supporting women’s empowerment, mentorship and leadership skills
  • Celebrating Pride Month around the globe in support of the LGBTQ+ community – we also became a proud partner of the Philippine Financial Industry Pride (PFIP) and pledged our support to providing equal opportunities and a safe workplace for Filipino professionals
  • Holding free training sessions with a child psychologist to help parents speak with their children about race, inclusion and solidarity as well as CEO diversity roundtables to talk openly about how the local Sitel Group communities were feeling following Black Out Tuesday in the U.S.

Conducted by Statista, the Financial Times surveyed more than 100,000 employees from 15,000 companies and assessed employees’ perception of companies’ inclusiveness or efforts to promote various aspects of diversity. The following parameters were taken into consideration: direct and indirect statements of age, gender equality, ethnicity, physical ability, LGBTQ+ and general diversity. These include gender balance, openness to all forms of sexual orientation, race and ethnicity, disability and age. At Sitel Group, our differences are our strength. We have 120+ offices across the globe, with 50 languages and 29 countries represented. The unique skills, experiences, backgrounds and cultures of our employees allow us to be better together.
