The world’s largest construction company by revenues needed a next-generation solution for promoting itself as a next-generation employer

The Challenge

To leverage digital tools and apply gamification to attract potential employees who fit the right profile to the company while simultaneously building VINCI’s brand profile as an employer of choice. 

Our Solution

We designed and deployed a multilingual chatbot hosted in Facebook Messenger that, through gamification, encourages users to share more information about themselves and to undertake a series of challenges that highlight their capabilities. At the same time, the way the challenge games were executed was designed to highlight the client’s brand values and to encourage players to consider VINCI as their future employer. During engagements, the chatbot offers users the chance to view VINCI’s global career pages or to contact a company representative directly if they have questions.

As well as generating widespread mainstream media attention, the chatbot proved very efficient at attracting engineers and salespeople to the VINCI brand and in making a connection between the company and the concept of innovation. Once the chatbot campaign came to an end, potential recruits continued to use social messaging channels to engage directly with the company.
