The COVID-19 crisis impacted the job market almost overnight. As we adapt to a post-pandemic world, companies continue to leverage virtual workforces to grow and strengthen their organization and keep their employees safe.

With the work from home model here to stay, Sitel Group® is proud to partner with Intuit, makers of TurboTax, QuickBooks and Mint, to create the first-ever virtual Sitel Group Prosperity Hubs in Lawton, Oklahoma and Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada. The Prosperity Hub Program is designed to spark sustainable economic growth in local communities through job creation and access to training.

Together We Prosper

As part of a four-year partnership with Intuit, Sitel Group® is creating hundreds of attractive job opportunities that pay above the market average. With the mission to make a positive impact, this partnership enables us to invest in people through new jobs, skill development and small business support.

As Intuit’s first virtual Prosperity Hub in the U.S., the Lawton Prosperity Hub brings more than 65 full-time work from home job opportunities to the area, as well as virtual training to expand community members’ expertise and resources for education supporting youth, adults and small businesses.

In Corner Brook, we created over 20 full-time work at home job opportunities. Today, we’re still growing and hiring for both Intuit Prosperity Hubs.

A Hub of Opportunity

Sitel at Home™

As we continue to adapt to changes brought on by the coronavirus, working from home looks to be the new normal for many. But even in the midst of a global pandemic, candidates are still applying for jobs, especially those affected by the surge of company-wide downsizing and layoffs.

Through The Prosperity Hub Program, associates have the flexibility to work from home, while still providing the level of care Intuit’s customers expect. As part of its recruitment efforts, Sitel Group is hosting virtual job fairs that include information on current job availability and training options for prospective candidates.

As a designated Military Friendly® Employer, Sitel Group provides sustainable and meaningful career opportunities to veterans and military spouses. Since 2017, our veteran community in the U.S has grown by 100% each year. To explore opportunities and apply, interested candidates can visit jobs.sitel.com.

In Our Communities

What makes the Prosperity Hubs special is their greater communities. At Sitel Group, we’re on a mission to make an impact, drive change and nurture growth beyond our associates’ homes. We leverage our local networks, made up of nonprofits, schools, organizations and small businesses to help those at home and in the community to Learn, Lead & Grow.

In 2021, Sitel Group is doubling down on education. For this reason, our first community engagement activity was all about promoting this core initiative. In February, the Lawton team donated 300 books to Lawton Elementary School. All of them were purchased from Books Plus From Sandy, a local bookstore with a mission to “enrich people’s lives with books through their positive influence.”

For the receiving school and its students, this means a lot.

“It’s something you get to take home with you and it’s something kids don’t get much of, especially having to purchase other things,” explains, Oscar Castro, principal of Lawton Elementary School. “This is something that will benefit them. Not being able to have the book fair this year, this is something that allows us to put books in their hands.”

In Corner Brook, we donated over $1,000 in books to the Community Mental Health Initiative, Inc., a Newfoundland-based organization that addresses mental health needs, to support their homeless shelter and programming. As part of this initiative, we worked with the Writers’ Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador (WANL), to purchase books written by local authors. All books were purchased locally to support the economy.

Watch our conversation with Stan Booker, Mayor of Lawton, about the positive impact of The Prosperity Hub Program within the local community.

More than ever, Intuit and Sitel Group are committed to powering prosperity at home, at work and in the community. Learn more about The Prosperity Hub Program here.
